Rose Donna Maria Dawkins-Baytop, M.D.

Dr. Baytop is a 1972 graduate of the Florida A&M University (FAMU) School of Pharmacy who went on to complete a degree in medicine at the University of Florida.  She is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and now resides in San Diego, California.  She is currently the International Medical Director of Solar Turbines, Inc., a subsidiary of Caterpillar, Inc., and Regional Medical Director of Caterpillar

Norman J. Clement, R.Ph., DDS

Norman J. Clement, R.Ph., DDS is a native of Detroit, Michigan, and is currently a resident of Tampa, Florida. He is a 1975 graduate of the Florida A&M University School of Pharmacy with a Bachelors in Sciences in Pharmacy.

Monroe Wilson Mack, R.Ph., MBA.

A pioneer by any stretch of the word, Monroe W. Mack is truly a trailblazer. He is one of the very first graduates of the Florida A&M University School of Pharmacy, class of 1956, and later received the MBA from Nova University. Mack moved to Tampa in 1958 where he established the pharmacy services at Clara Frye Memorial Hospital. From there he transferred to the Tampa General Hospital in 1962, becoming the first Black professional to be employed there. Mack eventually became the Director of Pharmacy at TGH, a remarkable feat for the times. Mack retired from TGH in April, 1990.

John J. Scrivens, Jr., R.Ph., Ph.D.

Dr. John J. Scrivens, Jr., is Associate Professor and Director, Tampa Pharmacy Practice Division, Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences. He is a 1972 B.S in Pharmacy degree graduate of the FAMU School of Pharmacy, and 1976 Masters in Pharmacy degree graduate of the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. He completed a Clinical Pharmacy residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Scrivens also holds a Ph.D. degree in Public Health from the University of South Florida (1994).

Gwendolyn Scott Washington, R.Ph., CDE Platinum Donor to NDPAC

Gwendolyn Scott Washington, R.Ph., CDE

Ms. Gwendolyn S. Washington is a native of Lake City, Florida, and a 1969 graduate of the Florida A&M University (FAMU) School of Pharmacy. She matured from a position of staff pharmacist at Bayfront Medical Center in 1970 to Director of Pharmacy at Palms of Pasadena Hospital where she worked until 2002. Ms. Washington is currently serving as Pharmacy Manager at Reliant Pharmacy of Clearwater, Florida, a national respiratory drugs mail order pharmacy.

Martha Ann Welters

Pharmacist Martha Ann Welters is a 1978 graduate of the Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences (FAMU-COPPS).  Martha hails from a pharmacy family, as her father was also a pharmacist.  Being the daughter of a pharmacist, this second generation practitioner is well aware of the significance of the roles pharmacists play in the health care delivery system.
